We’re fully certified by the Moroccan Ministry of Transport. Our drivers are professionally licensed and we have specialized passenger insurance. Be cautious of cheap offers using personal vehicles and insurance – it’s illegal but widespread. You won’t be covered if an accident occurs, and police may stop you.
We offer private vehicles for all trips. You won't share with others. Your group will be the only passengers, along with the driver, for your Chefchaouen transfer.
While Northern Morocco's Rif Mountains are cooler than the south, it can get very hot from April to October. Air conditioning is essential.
We'll collect you right from your hotel or chosen location, and take you exactly where you need to go. If cars can't reach your hotel (like in Chefchaouen's old town), the driver will come on foot.
Chefchaouen's blue medina is full of hidden gems and less crowded than Tangier or Fes medinas. It's perfect for trying local food and bargaining for Moroccan goods.
For 20 dirhams, you can visit Chefchaouen's 600-year-old Kasbah. It features lovely gardens and great views from the tower top. Note that displays aren't in English.
While the medina is enchanting, don't miss the amazing views from the lookout point. On clear days, you can see far into Morocco's countryside from above Chefchaouen.
Chefchaouen began as a Moorish fortress in 1471, welcoming Spanish exiles. But it wasn’t until later that century, when Jews fleeing the Spanish Inquisition arrived, that the town turned blue. It’s said the Jews started painting buildings blue to remind them of God and mirror the sky’s brilliance. Whatever the reason, the striking blue palette became the town’s signature, making it a photographer’s paradise and travel blogger’s favorite.
Our private transport in Morocco can get you from Tangier to Chefchaouen in less than 2 hours 30 minutes.
